NJ-Based New Century Transportation Appoints Senior Vice President

New Century Transportation has appointed Rich Luhrs, of Wyckoff, NJ, as its senior vice president of Corporate Development. Luhrs' duties will include product development, as well as identification and execution of strategic acquisitions.
A former senior vice president at the Shevell Group of Companies, Luhrs was responsible for that Group's Dedicated, Truckload and Third Party Logistics companies. Prior to joining the Shevell Group, he had a long career in the trucking industry, also serving as CEO/partner at Titan Express, a multi-regional Direct Delivery LTL motor carrier.
